What a truly fantastic day I had last Saturday at the BiDM (BrisStyle Indie Designers Market)

Fantastic crowds of enthusiastic shoppers

Awesome organisation by the committee – particularly the wonderful Helen of ruby2gogo

A collective of designers, artists and crafters

This is the fab group I am a member of here in sunny ol’  Brisbane

and we are having our final market for 2009

When: This Saturday, 5th December 2009 – from 9am to 4pm

Where: St Augustine’s Church Hall, Racecourse Rd, Hamilton

Lots of gorgeous goodies for you to buy

from over 60 stalls

I will be on the BiDM promotions and co-op stall this year

(the stall will be just opposite the entrance to the hall)

with a selection from my eclectic range of  jewellery, accessories & clothing

Planning ahead for Christmas

I have always been totally disorganised when it comes to Christmas. It comes every year and yet it is always the last minute rush to buy gifts, send cards and so on.

I found this fabric panel on one of my favourite fabric buying websites and knew I had to have it for this year. It is an Advent panel and has a cute cat theme. I have always bought the cardboard calendars from the shops with the cheap chocolates in them and yet I always thought I could do better.

This panel has 25 cute pockets of course which I cut off the panel before I took this photo. I thought I would show the development of this project in this blog.I have bought more of these panels so if you can’t resist having one then check my website:
